SOURCE: where is the thermostat located on a1999 lumina v6?

Grab top radiator hose, and follow back to engine. The part the hose is clamped to is the thermostat housing.
Remove the hose, and 2 bolts for the housing and the thermostat is revealed.

This car does not have a door lock relay. The gray and tan wires go straight from the switch to the door lock motors.

If your door locks are not working and your cigarette lighter is also not working the fuse is burned out. On my 2001 astro van it is #13 in the fuse box under the steering wheel. I have replaced mine and so far no problems. Good Luck.

Simply have it replaced, horns on domestics usally stop working as mine did on my 93 lumina, it stopped working and I had it replace and it worked fine after that.

My power locks will only unlock with the exception of the rear switch. Can you tell me the location of the lock relay so I can check it.

    Power door locks how to disable


    Look under the hood at the fuse/relay panel. Lift the top and look inside the lid,it will tell you witch fuse is controlling the door locks. remove the fuse to disable the locks. Or remove the door lock relay under the dash.Hope this will help.

    Trying to locate electronic flasher on 1999 chevrolet lumina


    There are two engine compartment fuse blocks, one located on the right side by the coolant reservoir and another is located on the left side next to the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Both fuse blocks contains fuses and relays.
    There is one inside vehicle located on the passenger side on the right side of the instrument panel and becomes accesible after removing the cover . They are fussible links.

    Camry 1999 power windows and door lock didn't work


    did you check the relay under the hood ? look and see if you can find your power box under the hood and under the lid of that box you will find the location of the window relay check that first before tearing into the door panel switches .. thanks Jerry and holler if you need more
