I have the exact same problem...did you manage to get it fixed? If so, how?

I have a 1999 with the same problem. Initially it was a bad alternator, had that changed and lights went out (also cleared up transmission shift problem). Now the lights are flickering again. Tested alternator output to battery and got 15+ volts which should be good. I'm going to take it back and have the mechanic check, change or adjust the belt and see if that does it.

I have an 01 honda accord and the battery light the doorlight and brake light are all flashing what can cause that

I have a 1998 Honda Accord 4cyl vtec that is doing the same thing but only when its cold. Once the car warms up the lights stop flashing. When this does happen the wipes are slow, light the alternator isn't charging properly. This isn't a service light issue. I know how to reset this light. Lights on the dash that flash are the battery light, the door open indicator lights on the dash and the brake light - all at the same time. I had the battery replaced since mine was two years old but this didn't fix it.

Cuts out while driving with plenty of gas

possible fuel pump or filter, if the timing belt goes the car stops completely and will not start.

The fast indicator flash is odd and usually means a blown bulb, perhaps a bad eath cable from the battery

DRL and High Beam do not work right on Honda Accord EX 1998

Some time back I found some data on a similar website suggesting that the Day Light Running circuit board, just under the steering column, developed cracks in some of the soldered joints. Your high beams should also be affected with loss of day light running lights.
Resoldering repaired the continuity of the circuits. Ours is now working quite reliably. Some of the defective areas developed slight brownish discoloration, that's how I was told to recognise the areas to be resoldered. Hope this will help you solve your problem.
