Idle too high

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

Two things which can cause this issue. A faulty MAF (mass air flow) sensor or IACV (idle air control valve). If one of these sensor is faulty an erratic idle, too high or too low may occur. Have the engine scanned to know which of these sensor is faulty.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Saturn A/C compressor for 1997 SL1 lists center mount rear hose, passenger mount rear hose and passenger mount rear offset hose....mine is located at front of engine as you face car mounted perpendicular...

Iam not sure if your looking for a compressor or a-c hose assembly.
These are the only parts that will fit on your SL1 -1997.

1997 SL1
Hose assembly
Suction hose assembly - Napa part # 282864
Discharge hose assembly - Napa part # 282866

1997 SL1
A/C Compressor - Napa part # 254550
