Question about 2000 Mercedes-Benz CLK
Hi, my 2000 230 CLK has been in the driveway unused for about 3 months now. I have fitted a new battery and all electrics seem ok, but car will not turn over. When key fob is inserted "control on" click is present. Ignition tumbler feels sticky. When turning key to auto start it sticks in position. Interior was slightly damp because I have found that the window seal is letting in water. What is the most likely problem for it not to be starting?
Do you have a sercuity system in ur car.could be the probem..sometimes it could be the chip in ur key that act with ur ignition.clean your key.make sure its not sticky.hopefully its not u anyting to do with ur sercutiy system..did you install an amp in the car..that will screw some cars up
