SOURCE: blew fuse to radio

Look on driver's side, under the dash. there should be a rectangular plastic cap that needs to be removed - the fuses are underneath. If you have the owner's manual, it should tell you the location of the box and the arrangement of the fuses. Also, sometimes the type and arrangement of the fuses is listed on the inside of the plastic cap that you remove to get to them.

SOURCE: where is engine compartment fuse box located

The fuse box that contains the rear lift gate module fuse is located under the rear seat. Lift the seat cushion and you will see the black fuse box cover.
Make sure you check #19 which is another lift gate module fuse.
Good luck.

SOURCE: where is the fuse box in the 06 chevy uplander

I have a chevy uplander and you have to open the passenger door and its on the side of the dash, to the right of the glove box. You will notice a small rounf opening with just enough room for 2 fingers to go in. the whole side will come off when you pull it.

Head lights wont turn off 06 h3 hummer

If you pull the headlamp relay in under hood fuse box, that should kill the headlamps until you figure out the problem? I don't know if relay could be faulty? I'd want to check relay wiring circuit for ground?
Your bcm grounds the coil side of headlamp relay in order to energize. I'm not saying bcm has a problem? The bcm receives input from headlamp/dimmer switch telling it the headlamp relay should be grounded. You might check for bcm or communication trouble codes.

Why is my Passenger headlamp dim. No other lights affected on right side.

The passenger side is grounding threw the drivers side. When you pull the drivers side light the other looses it ground. It is actually grounded threw the bulb. The reason it is dim. It could be the plug. Find the ground and run a new one to the bulb from the body.

Both headlights out on 1997 Jeep Wrangler. Don't see a fuse in the box in the dashboard indicating headlamps. Looked in the engine compartment, but don't know which fuse to check.

There is a fuse box under the hood on the passenger side remove the cover and the #10 fuse is for the headlamps. Look on under side of cover for fuse #s.

Does a 2007 hyundai sonata have headlight fuses?

Under the hood there is a fuse box that contains the head lamp relays for high and low. The relays are replaceable. I didn't see the fuse for it, but I wouldn't rule it out that there is a fuse for that application.

If your headlamps are not operating try to first determine if the headlamps have blown out by replacing one or two of them.

If you suspect there is just a blown fuse, then get a fuse tester to aid in quick diagnosis (5 minutes of time) of whether any of the many fuses are blown under power.

Good luck with this repair.

My headlights dont work,.all other lights are fine though,.is it the fuses or the bulbs? im not sure what fuses they would be,.there seem to be different ones for the same thing

do your flash to pass lamps light when you pull the stalk towards you? If yes, the bulbs are ok.
Do the hig beams work?
Your headlamps have sepaerate fuses for each headlamp and you have a low beam relay and a high beam relay under the hood in the black box.
If everything is out, I suspect a bad headlamp switch.
Check and look on page with * for cheapest price.

Your owner manual will identify fuses & relays.

PS, You did not recently instal high current bulbs did you? If yes, put originals back in.

The voltage is supplied to the lamp switch through a fuse. This fuse is located in the central junction box in the left-hand footwell.
When the headlamps are switched on, a voltage is supplied to the high beam/low beam switch and to the low beam relay. The relay for the low beam is located in the battery junction box (BJB) in the engine compartment.
If the high beam/low beam switch is set to "low beam", then a voltage is supplied through the low beam relay to the low beam part of the headlamp assembly. The left and right-hand low beams are fused separately. The fuses are located in the battery junction box (BJB) in the engine compartment.
If the high beam/low beam switch is set to "high beam", then a voltage is supplied through the high beam relay to the high beam part of the headlamp assembly. The left and right-hand high beams are fused separately. The fuses are located in the battery junction box (BJB) in the engine compartment.
