SOURCE: Where do you add power steering fluid for a 2000

The power steering filler cap is on the passenger side just behind and under the alternator (I had to use a flashlight to find mine but it's visible if you lean over the front fender - passenger side). . There is a cross brace by the firewall that I had to remove so I could get to the filler cap. The cross brace is held on by 4 nuts - 1/2" or 13mm - and removing them and the brace allows fairly easy access to the filler cap. Remove the cap and fill. I'd recommend using a small funnel since it's virtually impossible to get the power steering fluid bottle behind the alternator and around several hoses. A funnel made it a cinch. Check to be sure you don't over fill, replace the cross brace and you're finished.

Well, that can be a ton of things. Usually it means: A. its not getting enough air, or any air. B. Its not getting enough gas. It could be a problem with the Mass flow Sensor- which can be cleaned or replaced-, or maybe a bad fuel pump or bad fuel lines or something. Either way the problem sounds like it just can't run because it can't get enough gas.

SOURCE: Where do I add power steering fluid?

The power steering pump is in the front of the engine. You will see the serpentine belt on the pulley and it will look something like htis picture. The pump has a resevoir with a cap on top which is removable and has a dipstick built in to tell you how low you are on fluid.

Where is the Power steering reservoir for a 99' Buick Park Ave.

You will need a flashlight; it will be very helpful. Standing on the passenger side of the vehicle, shine the flashlight down behind the engine approximately in the corner behind the pulleys but a little more closer to the firewall and look straight down. The power steering reservoir sits like one to two feet below where you probably expect to see it; they seem to have hidden it very well . I have a 98 and a 99 Park Ave and it took me forever to find it.

I have a 1996 buick park ave 3.8 eng. it shifts normal if i do it manually but really slow if i put it in drive

obviously first check fluid level to be sure it is properly filled. Its an old vehicle and a slow leak could cause low fluid level. Thats what id check first.

If you cycle thru the gears.... 1st then 2nd then 3rd then drive, does it go into drive? If not, you could have a real problem.

I need to add power stering fluid

shut off engine.when your hood is open,to your left will be the front of the motor.you'll see a black rubber belt, this is called the serpentine belt.it will be approximately an inch n a half wide, smooth on outside edge and ribbed beneath..the top item you'll see powered by the belt is the alternator.if you follow the belt around the back(toward the passenger seat of the car),the next component run by the belt is the power steering pump.it will either have a cap on it or it will have a rubber hose attached to it,running to a plastic container.if there is a cap, twist off the cap and add the power steering fluid to the full line..otherwise,add the fluid to the plastic container in the same manner.

I cant locate where to put power steering fluid in my 1998 park ave ultra

The power steering pump cap is on the passanger side of the engine and between the engine and back fire wall. It is a very tight fit to get the cap off and back on.
