SOURCE: it uses too much fuel. 2,6 liter per 10 km.

You need to replace the sensors,,Throttle PositioningSensor, OXYGEN sensors, Mass Air Flow. after which your truck will run nicer and use less fuel.

SOURCE: cost of valve job?

Depends on where you go to. Call around and ask. I just came from a parts store a few hours ago and asked about a head job...resurfacing and cleaning/inspecting...$138 for BOTH heads...Chevy 350. It shouldn't cost that much at all for you...unless you are looking to get a valve job at the same time. They should call you to let you know after the before-mentioned if you need a grind job. around. And, it should only take a day to get this done. I know taking in a bare head is about $25 to get it hot tanked.

What causes the computer to read bank 1 to lean, bank 2 to lean. It also idles rough and will stall out while stopped. Runs great at operating speeds. It's on a 2004 F150, 4x4, 5.4 vin code 5.

More than likely you have a vaccume leak.Check arround the intake looking for any broken vac.hoses(especally the PCV hose) all the way up to where it connects to the intake.Could be a bad mass airflow sensor, but more likely a vac. leak.

Just got a 1990 olds cutlass suprime.has the3.1 has set outside for 1 year and not run.has trasmission leak at the pan.plan on replacing fiter and much fluid does it take?car runs rough...

Just changeing the filter and gasket, you shouldnt need much more than 4 liters (1 gal) just keep checking and dont over fill it.

as for the rough running after warm up. could be mass air flow sensor, to test, when car warm, tap the sensor wiht the handle of a screw driver when its running.. if it stumbles or stalls when you tap it. then it needs to be replaced. it could also be coolant temperature sensor, or leaking EGR valve.
