Question about 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix
I also hear water in my dash board like it is moving around.. any idea what's wrong with this car?
Most of the time when you have a blown heater core they are incased and there radiator fluid wont access the car if it dose then you can by pass the heater core by attaching a piece of hose between the two hoses that go the fire wall and just drive with no heat dose not damage the vehicle and will not harm anything you just might get cold if you in cold temps other then that you should be fine. now you said its on the driver floor if you smelt it it could just be water but if it smells like radiator fluid them it could have leaked under your whole dash and onto the driver flool i would be carefull and play it on the safe side and find someone to take a look at it

Testimonial: "Thanks it was smelling like a roton egg at one point. But now its just wet with no smell at all. it even looks like water. So you don't think it is clog and not allowing water flow threw? Or it's just a over flow in there ."

Under the passenger side of the vehicle, near where your feet are, should be a drain tube. This get clogged from time to time by road grime and usually insects, so carefully use a small screwdriver to clean it out. If this clogs, the A/C system cannot remove its own condensation and it backs up into the car.

This sound you hear is your cooant going to your heater core. Check your coolant level , radiator cap and thermostat. one of these mught be on its way out. If you have no problems with your heat or a/c then flush your radiator and don,t worry about anything. I hope this helps. Don,t forget to rate my answer, thanks

You could have a leaking windshield seal, and its running down the inside of the dash and onto the mat. Has the windshield been replaced?
