Question about 1996 Chrysler Cirrus
I have oil leaking everywhere under my hood and what can i use to help save the oil from leaking bad until it gets fixed
Are you sure it is a hole in the oil pan? Is this a steel pan or aluminum? If there is oil all over uder the hood I would suspect a front seal or a pan gasket, then the belts or fan can blow it around. I would first give it a good wash, top and bottom so you can pin point where it is coming from. If it is a hole in the pan I have seen a few temperary repairs that seemed to work for a while. You would need to drain your oil, then clean the area very well with brake clean and a wire brush, make sure you have it good and dry. Then you can use J B weld (a two part glue) and smear over the area. I have seen some people use seal-all and a peace of cloth. Some people have used a screw and spun it up into the hole with a little silicone, but the best way would be to remove it and get one from a auto wrecker or take it to a shop to get it welded!
