SOURCE: ABS light stays on

that has four wheel anti lock so your gonna need to either take all them off and clean ends it may correct the problem but more than likely your gonna have to take to a large shop that has abs computer to find which sensor is bad then correct the problem

SOURCE: Brakes are pulsating and not braking normal

try unbolting the front abs sensors and cleaning rust off from where they bolt to.these vehicles build up rust under the sensor and create a bigger gap

What's wrong with my ABS?

Random would be a broken wire. Read the codes to see which side. GM put hard plastic coverings over the wheel sensor wires. Follow it back, while bending and see where it is broken. Most likely the wire is broke there also. It could be several places in the harness.

2004 Ford F150 4.6L rear wheel drive. ABS pulsates at low speeds.

This may be an old school question, do you feel pulsating on the brake pedal? Have the brakes, themselves, been checked?

I have a 2004 Pontiac GrandPrix. When coming to a slow stop, abs starts pulsating. Only with slow speed stops, when you are on the brake pedal lightly. No warning lights on, and I pulled the front...

Its the ABS Computer, it is getting to be a common problem now, I have had that happen to me and I almost hit a car. I would unplug the abs until you can get it fixed, the plug is in the box that the brake lines run to from the master cylinder. The ABS light will be on but its better than rear ending someone.

Same problem. ABS light, Brake ligth. Speedometer not working. I un hooked the nbattery for a while and all seem to be woring for now? Any ideas

Hi these trucks are know for the front hub bearings to fail., the wheel speed sensor is located in side of them and serviced as a unit. Mostly the set the abs light while doing slow turns your will hear the abs motor and feel the break pedal pulsate.

Abs active light on, brakes pulsate when tapped. what's that mean?

The ABS Active monitor comes on when one or more of the wheels are not spinning at the same rate of speed. The ABS system determines wheel "lock up" from the wheel speed sensors and will adjust brake pressure to unlock the skidding wheel(s). It achieves this operation with a pump which will rapidly pump the brakes to the specified wheel. I'm assuming this is the "pulsation" you are experiencing. If you are having this problem under light to moderate braking, be sure to have the proper size tires on all 4 wheels. Incorrect tire sizes and uneven tire wear will give improper wheel speed information the the ABS controller. This will result in a malfunction of the system.

When i brake at high and slow speeds my brakes pulsate

either you are feeling abs (anti lock braking system) or you have warped rotors. check your manual about abs then look at the rotors if they appear wavy they either need machined or replaced. if not they can ruin your calipers and cause a loss of control

Brake pulsating and abs light is on

brake pulsation is caused by warped brake rotors, not sure the ABS light and the pulsation are related, The ABS warning light requires a scanner to be connected and to read the fault code that is stored when the ABS warning light is turned on.

ABS braking system engages at slow speeds or while

Are there any malfunction lights coming on? If so then it could be a wheel speed sensor. sometimes people confuse rotor vibration with abs pulsation.

Anti lock brake system

If the light is not on it may not be the ABS that is pulsating on slow braking but it may be that your have warped brake rotors, even if the rotors were replaced with the pads the new ones may be warped already, we always check new rotors on a brake lathe before installing them because we have seen this happen many times
