Codes p1192 an po700

P1192 has to do with Intake Air Temp. That sensor might be bad. The P0700 has to do with Transmission Control. Whether it's the control module or something else is hard to say at this point. However, if the vibration is really in the front of the vehicle, I would start by checking UJoints on the front drive shaft, CV Joints and the Transmission Mount/Motor Mounts. Make sure your transmission fluid level is correct. The shaking "under a load" is likely a torque converter issue. I had the same problem on my 96 Suburban. Instead of rebuilding the transmission (or changing the torque converter), there is a product available called "Dr. Tranny Shudder Fixx". Small tube, put in with Transmission Fluid, shudder goes away almost instantly. Hope this helps.

I have trouble codes P0700 (transmission control module?) and P1192 (undefined code) on a 1996 Safari Van. Anybody have any definitions/suggestions? Already been on diagnostics.

P1192 Post-catalyst Fuel Trim System Bank 1 Check your Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit, could be dirty or loose wires or just stop working. Usually you have 4 of these under your car so check all. Fault Code P0700

Message:
Here's what my service manual says:

EATX Controller DTC Present

This SBEC III or JTEC DTC indicates that the EATX or Aisin controller has an active fault and has illuminated the MIL via a CCD (EATX) or SCI (Aisin) message. The spscific fault must be acquired from the EATX via CCD or from the Aisin via ISO-9141.

Here's what I know: MIL=malfunction indicator light; DTC=diganostic trouble code; CCD=Chrysler collision detection. Beyond that, I'm clueless. Sounds like it needs to be read out at the dealer. Then again, if it was a one-time glitch, it might clear itself after several drive cycles.
