SOURCE: engine blowing oil from oil filler cap

I had the same problem. I changed the pcv valve and checked the hose. It still did the same thing. Then I checked the metal tubing that the hose connects to and found it was full of hardened gunk. I sprayed PB Blaster into the tube let it soak for awhile. Then took an old choke cable, put it on a drill and ran it into the tube like a drain snake. It took a while of doing this over and over but eventually got it cleared out. Now, no more oil all over the engine and hood compartment.

SOURCE: where is the transmission fluid filler on ford

You should have a dipstick under your hood labeled transmission fluid. you can fill it from there slowly. You can also fill up the fluid by removing the fill plug on the transmission itself. the fill plug will be just above the halfway mark

Don't know where to poor my oil in my 1981 ford f100. there is not filler tube

there shouldn't be a filler tube, just a dipstick tube for checking the oil level. to put the oil in the engine, there should be a oil cap on the right hand side valve cover. if the dipstick tube isn't there, you definitely need to get one from a parts yard or store, you can be losing oil from the dipstick hole that goes to the oil pan...

I have a MK IV ford fiesta and require the gearbox oil capacity. The vehicle is a 1998 1.8D, endure engine

good old fiesta with a endure engine ,run for ever this motor maybe not the fastest thing on 4 wheels but what a work tool ,anyway gearbox oil is EP 90 and if its completely empty then i would expect to top up to the filler plug with around 3 pints 1.9 litres acording to my alldata book .but then i always pump a grease gun full of LM grease into a box as well then top up with the EP oil as this grease settles to the bottom of the box and seals up any leaks in the casing .Old fleet fitters trick from the days when mechanics were mechanics and not unit changers

Where is the oil cap on a 1972 ford courier?

The oil cap should be located on the valve cover. Some V-8s had the oil filler/cap located at the front of the engine via an extention tube that was pretty much centered between the cylinder banks.

I need to put oil in my car but do not know where it goes???

there should be a cap that unscrews located on the valve cover of the motor... look at the side of the motor closest to you.... the cover is usually black ... or blue as it is a ford... if you are not 100 % certain by these instructions please let us know we will locate a picture to assist you.
