SOURCE: Horn went off when no

The horn contact is embedded in the outer horn pad
The change in the climate eventually shrinks the pad and the horn will go off by itself
Replace the horn pad is all that can be done

SOURCE: WHERE IS THE HORN FUSE ON 2003 OLS ALERO

There are 3 fuse boxes on an '03 Alero. The block with the horn fuse is under the hood. If you're at the front of the grill looking under the hood, the fuse box is on the drivers side closer to the windshield. It is rectangular (about 6" by 8") and has a fuse symbol with a little lightning bolt on it. The star knob is the only thing that holds the cover on.
The horn fuse on mine is #21, a larger gray 4 prong fuse. Good Luck with that one.

Called Horn Cam, it's in the steering column it is either bent in there or something fell inside and is touching the contacts, or your horn Pad it's self went bad !...either way you need to disable the air bag to acess it.

2003 dodge caravan airbag good horn doesnt work,so i jumped horn relay horn worked .so i now know relay to horn is good clock spring wiring horn pad?fuse compartment on wiring diagram has horn relay 20 amp...

if you check the wire that comes from the horn button to the relay for voltage when the horn is pushed and have voltage then you have a bad relay,if not then you probably have bad contacts in the horn pad area or even the clock spring itself.

My 2003 Alero's horn doesn't work. Checked the fuse and it was fine, replaced the relay and nothing changed. Any ideas?

Check with a voltmeter that current actually reaches the horn connectors. If it does receive electricity, then the horn has blown..(no pun). If it doesn't receive electricity then the cable has been severed somewhere between the fuse and the horn.

I am having issues with my horn. It will go non stop randomly unless I hold it down. I have it disconnected but am not able to drive with it like that. I have disconnected and reconnected several times...

The contacts for the air bag are too close and they are causing the horn to go off. I have the same problem. In order to fix the contacts, the whole air bag assembly must be replaced at a cost of around 1800.00. I am not paying that amount so instead I have removed the fuse for the horn which you can find under the hood.
