TGhe fan is controolled by part called the "IRCM" it is a box that contasins all the replays for the fan and fuel pump, it is defective more than likely, it can be tested by the Ford dealer but if you just want to ty one then it is located undere the plastci panel that covers the top of the radiator under the hood, remove that cover, it is onthe left standing in front of the car. See picture of part below. part is about $125.00 It is available at most parts stores, here is the part number and name of manufacturer:
FOUR SEASONS Part # 37512 [controller relay]

My chevrolet uplander radiator cooling motor fan only working, when the A/C is turn on. Any relay or fuse that I need to check?

It would be useful if you had mentioned whether it was a radiator cooling fan motor or a heater/ventilation fan.

It is usual for the cooling fan to switch on with the A/C is on unless the ambient temperature is quite low, otherwise it only operates subject to engine coolant temperature via a thermal switch fitted into the cooling system and/or the engine management system.

The heater fan is either directly switched and faults relatively simple to trace or subject to the whims of the climate control if fitted when a degree in magic is needed along with a box of tricks.

Dded anti freeze, seemed ok for a day, started over heating again when moving but pull over at idle temp drops

Welcome to Fixya

Sounds like you have a problem with the cooling system. First thing you need to check first if the auxillary fans are working from the time you are the engine is overheating. If the auxillary fans is not working then the problem would be the aux fan itself or relays. if Fan is working then you might have a poblem with the water pump.

Thank you for using Fixya!
