Looks like a cigarette lighter port, made for power for accesories,
they don't want to call it a cigaterre lighter anymore.Usually the power point has a lesser amp rating than a lighter port.

What is the purpose of fuses labeled in the owners manuel as power point, power point 1,rear power point?

I understand. What is year--make--model? If your vehicle is sold in the US, I'll try to look up power distribution diagram for your vehicle, hopefully, it will show which fuse does what?

2003 dodge dakota, center console has a hot power point.. I checked all fuses and still doesn't want to work. 2 hat else have I missed or need to check?

I just run new wires to power points. All just seem to have bad splice points in the harness. It is a power point , low amperage. You can run it to any key on, fuse or wire. Other wise, start taking the dash apart and chasing wires.

All three auxiliary power power points (12V connectors) don't seem to be working.

Here is the information I have concerning the power points on your vehicle:

Fuse 15 Battery Junction Box (20 Amp) = rear power point
Fuse 17 Battery Junction Box (20 Amp) = console power point
Fuse 9 in Smart Junction Box = dash power point
Fuse 9 gets its power from fuse 29 - Battery Junction Box (80 Amp)
Fuses 15 and 17 above have direct battery connections.

Make sure you are looking in the correct fuse box for each fuse. The Battery Junction Box is under the hood. The Smart Junction Box is under the left side of the dash. The fuses may "look" ok and can still be blown. You need to test for power at the fuse with a test light. All of the fuses listed above should be HOT AT ALL TIMES - meaning, you do not have to turn on the ignition switch to get power to them.

Also, are you sure that all the power points are not working? or are you just trying the same piece of equipment in all 3 of them? If this is the case, the piece of equipment that you are pluging into them could be the problem instead of the power points. Since all 3 of the power points are on separate circuits, I think it very unlikely that all the fuses would be blown unless you have plugged a defective/shorted piece of equipment into all 3 of them. There is nothing else that could cause this that would make all 3 of them go out at the same time.

Auxiliary power point does not work check all fuses all good

Did you check both sides of the fuse installed with a meter to a known good ground ? There are 2 or 3 power point fuses ( depending on the cab configuration ).

Engine compartment Fuse # 22 is the cigar lighter
Engine compartment Fuse # 65 is the dash power point
Engine compartment Fuse # 66 is the inside the console power point
Engine compartment Fuse # 72 is the rear power point

Where is my auxillary power point fuse located at? read other threads that says its Fuse #39 but in manual says 39 is not used? help...

Do you have a 2006 or 2007/08 F-150 ?

The problem section is for the 2006, which 37 & 39 are the correct fuses.

Change in the 07-08 MY for the power point fuses

Instrument Power point is fuse #117
Rear Power Point and Center console power point are fuse # 37

Fuse #18 & Fuse #20 are for the overhead power point, one is hot in run / start ( Fuse 18 ) the other is hot all the time ( Fuse 20 )

You can download a PDF version of the Owners Manual from Ford, so you can search for terms

2000 F150 power port just went out

The power point in the dash on the 2000 MY truck is engine compartment fuse panel, fuse #1, 20 A
You might be talking about the rear power point which is engine compartment fuse # 12, 20A
Passenger compartment fuse panel, fuse # 3 is for the cigar lighter & ODB-II port.
If you are talking about the power point, it is the engine compartment fuse panel ( could be both the power point and the cigar lighter were both out )

If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :
https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

Also handy to have the PDF to search on keywords ( Ford calls the DC power ports, power points if you are searching ).

All 3 are on separate fuses.

Cab fuse panel ( passenger side kick panel, by the fuel inertia switch ) :

Instrument panel power point : Fuse # 39
Rear Power point : Fuse #37
Cigar lighter : Fuse # 41

If you did not get an owners manual with your truck ( purchased used ), you can download one from Ford :

Power point fuse

The dash power point fuse is # 39
The console power point is fuse #37

Note sure which fuse type you are talking about

The truck uses mini fuses & Maxi Cartridge fuses ( those are the ones that are at the end of the list.

Power Point in 2004 F-250

Look in your manual for the Power Distribution Box reference in Roadside Emergencies. It should be located under the hood on the driver's side. My 2002 Explorer has two power points on the center console and the 20A fuses in the Power Distribution Box for them are number 7 and number 9. They cost $3.99 each at AutoZone. The cigar lighter fuse under the dash is unrelated.
