2005 ranger quits when it get hot


You'll need to figure out if it is fuel or ignition related to proceed.
Could be a relay or the ignition coil among other things.
Check for fuel pressure and spark when it fails to start.

Where is the interia switch located on the 2004 model for a ford ranger?


This switch is located under the
right-hand side of the glove box,
just above the carpet.
To reset the switch:
1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Check the fuel system for leaks.
3. If no leaks are apparent, reset the
switch by pushing in on the reset
button.
