Six-disc CD player in Acura MDX no longer functions but radio does. Problem occurred when changing discs.

To fix your Acura MDX 2006 DVD player, you will need to check the power connections, check the disc for any scratches or dirt, and make sure the disc is inserted correctly. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the DVD player or have it serviced by a professional.

Try a dust cleaner but do not shake the can. Just insert the shaft into the removed cd slot and shoot some air in there, then try a cd cleaner disc to clean the disc lens. If the disc player is just shooting them out also try removing and unplugging the radio assembly and shaking the radio, slot facing down maybe something is lodged in the cd input area...kids love that slot...

call the dealer... you may have to reset it with the radio code or you might just need a new radio

try using a cd disk cleaner if that dont work the laser might be bad and need replaced.unless you have worked on a cd player before you will have to have a pro replace the laser of whole cd player.

Before connecting any cables you must set the dip switch box to the position listed for your vehicle. If you set the dip-switches after you have connected cables to the box, you must disconnect and reconnect them for the changer to operate. All 1992-2004 Honda's are compatible with the Neo Changer except the 2003 and 2004 Honda Accord and all Honda Element vehicles. Some radio models require pressing "Seek >" once to start playing after changing CD or after startup. The radios display will not show the proper disc number after disc six. You can use all 10 discs in the magazine, but the readout will be wrong. This is not a technical problem; the car stereo was designed for no more than six discs. *Due to the direct access disc system, you will not be able to directly access discs 7-10. To access these discs you will have to go to the last track on disc 6 and let it play until it loads disc #7. ( you can fast forward the track, but you must let it play the last 5 seconds of the track, for it to change to disc # 7 Switch to the Neo Changer by pressing the "CD" button. Left Kick Panel Right where your CALF /Ankle would be is ONE fuse Box the Other is under Hood Left of Battery. It seems to be common With ALL Vehicles W/ Navigation Systems
Stay Away from Dealer if you can or You Will Possibly Pay 100 bucks for them to Change a FUSE
