Question about Lincoln Town Car
There was an extremely high failure rate for the DPFE sensor on various
Ford products in 2001, 2002 model years. So common that I would suggest
that you replace it with the revised part. Just make sure that the two
rubber tubes that connect from the manifold to the sensor are not
broken and are snug at both ends. Below is a technical service bulletin
regarding the concern and repair: PENTICO/2010-06-05_021918
