Probability is that the variable relay is burned only allowing partial power to the blower motor.

SOURCE: I have a 2006 Ford Fusion, 4 cylinder. Rough

please say you did not get the engine steam cleaned...as you can cost yourself a LOT of money.hopefully the heat will dry things out, otherwise get the car put on a diagnostics machine.

  3. Disconnect the 4 ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors.
NOTE When removing the ignition coil-on-plugs, a slight twisting motion will break the seal and ease removal. Remove the 4 bolts and the ignition coil-on-plugs.

WARNING Only use hand tools when removing or installing the spark plugs, or damage can occur to the cylinder head or spark plug.

NOTE Use compressed air to remove any foreign material in the spark plug well before removing the spark plugs.
  4. Remove the 4 spark plugs.

To install:
  1. Inspect the spark plugs, as outlined in this section.
  2. Adjust the spark plug gap, as necessary, to 1.25-1.35mm (0.049-0.053 in.).
WARNING Only use hand tools when removing or installing the spark plugs, or damage can occur to the cylinder head or spark plug.
  3. Install the spark plugs and tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
NOTE Apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the inside of the ignition coil-on-plug boots before attaching to the spark plugs.
  4. Install the 4 ignition coils and bolts and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  5. Connect the 4 ignition coil electrical connectors.
  6. Install the alternator air inlet duct and the 2 nuts and the bolt. Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.

2007 ford fusion 2.3L problem will crank but will not start and has no fire going to the spark plugs, changed the cam/crank position sensor but still did not start, same problem?

Did you check for voltage at the ignition coil connector, should go hot with the key on? That circuit is fused protected.
I don't know what testing you have done? Use a test lite on the voltage wire. If the lite comes on, you got voltage.

You need to have a ford dealer run a power balance test and also see if the coil is getting a signal to fire, this would be wiring issue or a PCM problem.

I need to change the spark plugs on my 2006 Ford Fusion V6 3.0L. Do you have a diagram that shows where they are and the order in which they need to be changed? I can't seem to find this information...

No order, just do one at a time. on the engine there will be a valve cover on each side of the engine, below is a valve cover, the arrows are pointing to is the ignition coil packs, coil packs might have a plastic cover over them, if so remove cover, disconnect harness from coil, remove small bolt holding coil pack, pull up on coil, remove spark plug, do the same on other side of engine, don't forget to check spark plug gap, the spark plug gap is .050", hope this was very helpful.

Where are the spark plugs located?

look at the distributer, a small cap with 5 leads going into it, follow one of the OUTSIDE of the 4 wires and at the end is the spark plug. if you are intending to change the plugs, mark them 1234, or change one plug at a time so you doont have wires allover the place, that's your best bet

2007 Ford Fusion shaking when stopped

Sounds like a missfire, check spark plugs and HT leads from coil, they suffer from water damage from the windscreen washer jets. If water found you will need new coil, plugs Ht leads and revised washer jets from ford.

Good luck Davelee
