The wires should be grey, orange and black, purple, and a black wire. The purple goes to purple, grey to gray. The orange and black goes to the small black wire on your car harness and the black goes to the bigger black.

If the pump is running but not putting out any fuel the strainer in the tank could be clogged causing it not to pick up fuel. Also check the fuel pressure regulator and make sure it is working correctly.

It is getting spark but it seems that there is no fuel pressure at the stem on the fuel line.how can I be sure it is the fule pump and not the relay or anything else. I have checked the fuses.

Hook up a fuel pressure gauge ! Go on youtube and watch videos on fuel pump electrical circuit testing ! Do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter . Find a wiring diagram at www.bbbind.com . Look at diagram to see what controls the fuel pump , relay , a control module etc.... If there is a relay ,pull it out an try to jump fuel pump directly .

Engine turns over but wont start , think we have eletrical fault to fuel pump.

I can't look up wiring diagram w/o year--make--model? Usually if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs, where applicable. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse.

My automotive database is a US database, it won't have vehicles sold only in other countries.

Engine will crank but not turn over. Suspect fuel pump relay or fuse.

Testing the fuel pump electrical circuit would be the way to see if the fuel is the problem ! Learning how to test automotive electrical systems would also be helpful .
Fuel Pump Electrical Circuits Description and Operation
Also looking at a wiring diagram for your vehicle would be helpful as well . You would do that to see what all is involved in the fuel pump electrical circuit on your vehicle. Also pulling a spark plug wire while cranking the engine over to check for spark .
Free wiring diagrams herehttp://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html
Enter the vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click on fuel controls . Click the search button ,then the blue links.
But first ,hook up a fuel pressure gauge instead of guessing if it's the fuel pump . You don't know any of this , suggest you take it to a qualified repair shop .

Fuse blows on contact for the fuel pump module, where do you suggest I look?

I just did this and the wiring diagram for the autozone fuel pump was incorrect. I had to use old pump as example. I do remember that grey went to grey but two of the wires were not correct in the directions that came with the pump.

Where can i go to find a ford f150 diagram to hook up a fuel pump?

you can buy a manual at any autozone,or advance auto parts. or webresourceful.com the fuel pump plugs in directly to the wiring harness under the truck close to the back and top part of fuel tank. it should have a wiring harness that has a blue retaining clip into it that keeps the fuel pump plugged up. there are 2 bolts that hold the straps that hold the tank up. the more fuel in the tank, the heavier the tank will be. but you can find those manuals online. thank you for choosing fixya.com

No power to the fuel pump. looking for a wiring diagram.

The 15a efi fuse pwoers the computer fuel system components including the pump. If you NEVER have pump power, I would check the FP terminal in the underhood diag connector...this is the FUEL PUMP POWER wire tap. If it never gets off zero at any key position (Run or crank) your problem is either wiring, the circuit opening/Fuel pump relay, or the efi main relay, or the fuse itself. If it has power in 1 position but not the other, suspect wiring, or possibly the airflow meter. fuel pump switch power is run thru the airflow meter, if its not hooked up, the fuel pump relay cannot be closed in the run position, or if its open internally or the contacts are bad.
