Question about 1999 GMC Suburban
Last night the truck was fine. This morning we went outside to start it and it wont stay running. It will start but wont stay running. The battery is fine as all the lights, radio and electric things work fine. Can hear the fuel pump coming on but acts like it is out of gas.
Check the fuel pump run relay under the hood in the power distribution box, it may be sticking and not allowing the pump to run after the key is released on start up, crank and run are 2 separate circuits on the pump.
FixYa.com claims they have factory repair manuals, they have nothing of the sort, this is not to say some experts may have manuals, we do, but we work from home and in most cases have a small library. Experts are not employed by FixYa.com, we help free of charge as much as we can with the general automotive knowledge we have learned while working as auto technicians, specific test values, repair procedures and illustrations are unique to each car line, these are not in most cases available to us. Thanks for using FixYa!
