2006 Honda Odyssey Seat Heater

We have a 2006 Honda Odyssey. The bottom of the driver's side seat heater has gone out. If the fuse was out, I back would be out too. My husband has checked the wires as best he can without taking the seat out. He spoke with the dealership (keep in mind, this is the only person he has consulted), who told him that the seat had to be removed - a 4 hour job and that he (my husband) could probably not do it himself - and then the heater replaced. I think the total through the dealership would be appx. $350. My husband is fairly handy and could in fact do this himself, but wants some opinions and suggestions before he removes the seat, etc.

2004 GMC Sierra drivers side seat heater turnes on and off by itself

The seats are powered by a 30amp breaker which includes the circuits for the power motors.
The signal from the control switch goes to a door module then to a memory seat module, then to the heater elements.
It may be easier to disconnect the heating element for now, repairs will need a shop manual to test and trace the circuits.

The drivers seat won't move and the heated seats won't work on both sides. Where is the fuse?

Check underneath the seat for an inline fuse. It is a glass type fuse in a fuse holder that you have to push and twist to get out.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The heating seat is not working

In driver's seat you must dissconect gray terminal with 3 pins and check contonuity between 1 and 2, and next between 2 and 3 pin. There should be continuity. If not, the heater inside seat is out of order. Passanger's seat has gray 4p terminal. There must be continuity between 2 and 3, and 3 and 4 pin. Don't dissconect yellow conectors (SRS)! If you are not sure dissconect first battery for 10 min. Btw, check first all fuses inside car (both side-driver's and passanger's)) and check under-hood fuses.

Check that the seat belt has got jammed & this is what can be stopping the seat's staying up as they have something stopping the seats locking into place. Best Wishes, Malcolm Campbell.

Heated seat on drivers side

If the front passenger's seat heater works and 7.5A fuse 4 in the driver's underdash fuse/relay box and 20A fuse 3 in the passenger's underdash fuse/relay box are OK, the problem is in the driver's seat. The LO/HI switch could be defective or the seat and/or back heaters could be defective

I have a Honda accord 2.4 exec on an 03 plate. The heated seat switch lights on bothe seats but neither get warm. Is there a relay that needs replacing? any help would be appreciated.

According to the factory wiring diagram for a 2002 Honda Odyssey, the seat heater switch hi/low indicator lights won't light up unless the seat heater relay is good. The seat heaters have thermostats and circuit breakers that limit power to the seat heaters under the following conditions:

Thermostats: On below 93F and off above 109F

Circuit breakers: On below 86F and off above 122F

The breakers operate in series with the thermostats and serve as backups to faulty thermostats.

Both of my seat heater went out at the same time? Is there a fuse that could effect both?

There's two fuse that control the seat heter. Located under dash by driver left feet there's a fuse box. check fuse #15(20amp fuse) and fuse #30(7.5amp fuse).
good luck

2000 passat passenger seat heater stuck on. The control won't turn off heater on seat and now the battery has been drained. Not sure if related or not. How to fix? Can seat heater be disconnected? If so,...

Check the fuse if you've changed the switch. 30 amp in position 44 (very bottom on the right) should be a green fuse. Fuse panel is behind a cover on the drivers side of the dashboard with the car door open. When you put the cover back on be carefull to align the three prongs that hold the cover in place with the slots that they go in.
