Question about Cars & Trucks
We have a 2006 Honda Odyssey. The bottom of the driver's side seat heater has gone out. If the fuse was out, I back would be out too. My husband has checked the wires as best he can without taking the seat out. He spoke with the dealership (keep in mind, this is the only person he has consulted), who told him that the seat had to be removed - a 4 hour job and that he (my husband) could probably not do it himself - and then the heater replaced. I think the total through the dealership would be appx. $350. My husband is fairly handy and could in fact do this himself, but wants some opinions and suggestions before he removes the seat, etc.
I suggest you go onto youtube and type in the search box " 2006 Honda Odyssey seat heater/replace" and you will see a variety of step by step videos on how to do this and other jobs. good luck.
