The drivers side power window will go up very slow or get stuck and stop completely when trying to put the window up, the back side of the window seems to come off track.

Sounds like you need to replace the window regulator inside the door. It is the scissor like apparatus that the window rides on. If the power window motor is weak it also might need replaced. I would first take the door panel off and inspect it. Then I would spray and lubricate all the moving parts to make sure they aren't binding up. Operate the window with the panel off and look for smooth operation. The plastic bushings that ride in the metal track of the window regulator break or wear flat on one side. Through my experience they make it so you can't just replace the bushings. A window regulator and motor will cost you anywhere between $175 and $300 dollars new depending on where you go.

My driver side electric window assembly collapsed and the window fell down inside the door. The motor is still very good, but I need info and/or a diagram of how it is assembled in order to repair it and...

  1. Lower the window halfway.
  2. Remove the front side door trim panel.
  3. Remove the water deflector.
  4. Support the window in a position needed to access the window rivets by inserting a rubber wedge door stops (1) at the front and rear of the window between the window and the door inner panel.
  5. Drill out the window rivets (3) with a 1/4 inch drill bit.
  6. Remove the window (1) by lifting out of the door. Important: Inspect the window bushings, window bushing retainers, window front up stop, window stabilizer pins and window wedges on the window for damage.
  7. Remove the window bushings and window bushing retainers if necessary, using a flat-bladed tool covered with cloth body tape.
  8. Remove the window front up-stop screw if necessary.
  9. Remove the window front up-stop, front up-stop nut and front up-stop washer if necessary.
  10. Remove the window stabilizer screws, if necessary.
  11. Remove the window stabilizer pins, stabilizer pin nuts and window wedges if necessary.

  1. Install the window stabilizer pins, stabilizer pin nuts and window wedges if necessary. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
  2. Install window stabilizer screws, if necessary. Tighten the window stabilizer screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
  3. Install the window stabilizer pin nuts, if removed. Tighten the window stabilizer pin nuts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  4. Install the window front up-stop washer, if removed.
  5. Install the window front up-stop screw, if removed. Tighten the window front up-stop screw to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
  6. Install the window front up-stop nut if removed. Tighten the window front up-stop nut to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  7. Install the window bushings and bushing retainers, if removed.
  8. Install the window (1) into door so that holes in window bushings line up with holes in channel.
  9. Install the window rivets (3) in sequence.
  10. Install the water deflector.
Hope this helps

Windo motors wont work

The driver side window switch is the master switch, the power or input to either roll the window up or down goes thru that switch. Double check all the connections on the back of the driver side window switch are good. With a DVOM you can also check to see if 12v are even getting to the master switch in the first place. If you aren't even getting power to the main power window switch you could've blown the power window fuse.

Power window comes up intermittently

I had the same problem. It was a bent rod on the regulator, which burned out the motor. Easiest way is to switch out the whole assembly, the motor and the regulator. Mine is working just fine now. I am a female and was able to switch it out just fine i just had to have someone else hold the window in the right positions to get to the bolts on the window.
