In fact there was a leaf or two stuck on the fan and making that noice I was convinced about it when this morning I open the fan again and it sounded diferend
So I used a heave blower and a vacum to dislodged the leaf but first I had to start the Engine and remove the glovebox
Everything is OK now and thanks to everyone who give an idea or two

Bearing have gone and extra draught is pushing it to one side a bit hence the noise unless you have a leaf up the pipe above the fan that i had before now ,but the recirculate was quite so yes i have had this before

SOURCE: heater fan noise and sporatic fan control switch

Sounds like the fan is going out. Perhaps something got dropped down a vent and hitting the blades and maybe even jamming them from time to time. Paper, cigarrette, nut, bolt? Take the fan out hook the wires, red, black to battery power and see how it operates. Sometimes the bearing in the back drys up and a little spray lubricant does wonders.

Cooling fan keeps running after engine turned off on a 1996 ef ford falcon

Some fans do keep running after engine is switched off for a short period of time (up to 5 minutes) Check with a service person (ford) to see if that is the case or if you have a faulty sensor.

Will a auto transmission cooler from a ED falcon fit an EF falcon

If it is in the radiator it should as the fittings are the only problem you are likely to encounter. If you are wondering if the cooling capability is affected consider this . Hot tranny oil has to be cooled in the radiator water and this heat makes the radiaror work hard. Why don"t you consider a external cooler. They keep the oil cooler as they are are running in the outside air. Ie air temp 30 deg C oil temp 150c+ water temp 85degC oil temp 150c. You can see that the tranny oil looses more heat and it will not overload the radiator capability

Noisy fan

The fan bearings are likely worn out and the fan cage is rubbing on the fan case. Replace the fan motor.

Does it run cooler at highway speeds above 35 mph?
What is the pressure range on the radiator cap?
Is the coolant mixed at approx. 60/40?
Is the condensor and radiator clean and able to pass enough air?
Is the fan shroud on?
