My brake light and signal light stopped working on my 1998 dodge neon on drivers side back can you help?

Does any lights on the right side work? It sounds like the ground connection to the assembly is loose.

2003 Dodge Ram 3500, my front left wheel is making 'scraping' sounds, as if the brake pads are worn down and the tabs are 'scraping' but every once in a while there is a grinding sound. Have taken brakes...

It's possible that the bearings need replacing if haul loads on a regular basis. Take a look at the complete hub assembly, this is not an uncommon issue with Dodge Rams. If you need diagrams and procedure info, here is a cheap factory service manual for a 2003 Dodge Ram covers every bolt from front to back.

I hear a high pitched scraping sound when I press down on my brakes to come to a stop. I need to know if that means the brakes need to be replaced and if so how do I do that? I've done a brake pad...

No it won't, but it should be easier. The 70's CJ7 was a hub and rotor assembly. The Honda is just a disc rotor. Remove the wheel, caliper and bracket and then the rotor should just come off. Reverse the way you took it apart and fit in the new pads after pressing the caliper piston back in.

My 98 dodge ram 2500 turbo diesel 2wd's rear brakes will not work. i adjusted the rear brakes, and they stopped working.

My story Dealing with Dodge

I had a 1994 Dodge Ram. The Red Dodge Ram I had it malfunctioned and my brake became the throttle. I had to put the truck in reverse then park. to stop, after it was out of control at 80 mph a hill slowed us down. Are you sure its not electrical and the curse control is not giving you trouble? Mine had multifunction switch was not working and the headlight switch burned up. I also found out that Audi had problem with the brake becoming the throttle in the 1980s Daimler Chrysler and Audi were German made. I don't think there is an easy answer. I hope you stay safe. Another man is having strange trouble also. I'm sure there are many more people with trouble with the vehicles. I wish Dodge would step up to the truth. and recall their nightmares. I saw many of their 1996 Dodge trucks at their dealers shop with all the electrical pulled out.

Wheelbearing replacement

Hello
Welcome to FixYa
the front wheel bearing is a hub unit.
need to remove the tire, brake caliper, rotor, the 34mm nut in the axle, then there is 3 bolts that hold the hub to the spindle, those come off then the hub comes out, reverse to install.
