Hello, i can seem to get rid off a missfire in my ford explorer 4x4 4.6 v8 from 2002. i changed the plugs and it ran great for about ten minutes, then it started miss firering again. it is even worse on...

If your coils/wires are on the correct cylinders then, with the truck running unplug your alternator if the truck runs smooth then you have a short inside the alternator causing change in electrical current, if this is case replace alternator.

Have a 2003 kia rio with a misfire on #3 cilinder does anyone have any ideas????? I tried the coil pack didnt help??????

first thing to do is clean the throttle body. kia even has a tech bulletin on it and missfire codes along with all sorts of others are caused by a dirty throttle body

I REPLACED EGR BUT LIGHT STILL ON SAME CODE

Hi:
I am not sure what code you have, but there is also an EGR sensor code that is tripped, and it isn't the EGR valve, but the EGR pressure sensor. Did you clear the codes off of your vehicle, or just replace the part? If you didn't clear them, then it can take 50 start cycles to get the light to go out by itself.

When i start my car it makes this noise as if i am still holding the key in the start position can you tell me what it might be?

Sounds like the starter is staying engaged. Its may be a bad starter or a bed starter relay

2001 Kia Magentis engine missfiring , installed

check new spark plugs for proper gap.
It may have gotten hit when installing it.check coils second for resistance/firing. sometimes one bank will work fine and the other side will misfire-always replace all together or as a unit. Check
engine for compression if problem pre existed
and check for low compression. if 1 cylinder
has 120 psi and two havepsi below 90 you may have
a cracked head or bad head gasket.

Alfa Romeo 156 2.5V6 2001 107000 km

yea could be, let it dry out good or a couple days first. it could be a coil pack shorted out or could be plug wires not waterproof.
