Cam is on the end of the block, crankshaft sensor is on the bottom of the block. Both are easy to change....are you changing these due to poor performance or no start condition?

SOURCE: crankshaft sensor
2-0L-2.4L I-4 crankshaft sensor mounts to the engine block, behind the alternator, just above the oil filter. 2.5L V-6 crankshaft sensor mounts to transaxle just below the distributor.

The crankshaft or the shankcraft as we refer to it is inside the engine, it turns over the pistons. Never heard of such an animal. You may have a fuel pump going out, clogged fuel filter, fuel injectors, Idle air control valve going out, bad plugs, plug wires or distributors. Just began checking them one at a time.

should be on the intake manifold should be a dish looking shaped part... go online and pul;l a pic of one up on a parts page to help identify... also check with Auto Zone parts house as they will give you a print out of its exact location and the part if they have it in stock.
