Could be one of three things; 1. Check the fuses in the fuse box. 2. If all fuses are OK, check the headlight switch. 3. If this car has 'delay turn off lights' feature, the lighting control module should be checked.
do you head lights work ok are your turn signals working the brake light go through the multifunction switch then to the brke lights also did you check the brake light switch for power going in and opperation
You shouldn't have BRAKE LIGHTS on , when you turn on the HEADLIGHTS. Tailights , YES, sounds like they are not working . Check the TAILIGHT FUSE. Hope this helps
HAVE SOMEONE GO BEHIND THE CAR AND CHECK AND MAKE SURE THE BRAKE LIGHTS ARE ON, IF THEY DON'T WORK THEN THERE IS NO POWER TO THE BRAKE PARK INTER-LOCK SOLENOID AND YOU CAN NOT DIS-ENGAGE PARK. IF THEY DON'T WORK CHECK THE FUSE, IF IT IS OK REPLACE THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH.
