this is not a big job - infact pretty straight forward -word of warning thou do not buy the replacement pan from e-bay - only tip i can give is once removed leave it standing for 24hours so all access oil is drained - makes it easier to fit new one also a cleaner job and less likely to leak - andy

they are located at the back ov the engive they have lick black rubber pipes attached to them u have to pull them off then u will see the plugs thare will be 4 in a line u will need a spark plug socket set just turn them they will come out.

Definitely change your oil every 3 months or 3000 miles. After you change it add a half cup of Lucas engine oil suppliment when the engine is hot.
If if goes away you know it's cam or lifter issue. If it doesn't the ticking you hear may simply be your fuel system.
