Question about 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera
Sounds like low voltage on fuel injectors can be checked with a DMM. your coil pack could be weak also. also could be a bad head.. valves sticking not working properly. but sounds more like your coil pack is getting hot and wont work properly. ive had it happen many times. check your spark when its cool. then when its hot. it should be a solid blue in color orange is a weak coil.

could be a crankshaft position sensor located on the back side of the engine. There is a two wire plug on it and should be close to the freeze-out plugs. you will need an 8mm wrench to remove it.

Have your fuel injectors checked !!.When they start going bad one or more will short out ,then the quad driver in the computer which controls injector pulse will shut down until it cools off a little. Then you can start your car .:)

SOURCE: Code PO 300 Random misfire
This could very well be caused by a bad fuel injector. I had this exact problem with my '96. I to thought of the coil because I had them replaced previously. But with further diagnostics it was determined that the no 3 injector was malfunctioning.
