Question about 1991 Buick Century
After driving for a while and car warms up it will not restart until the motor gets cold.
Likely vapor lock if one of the Carburated units.
If it is EFI, Fuel pump may not be priming as it should- look for a broken wire, Tan is the basic color. It is tapped by the priming wire from the ECU- that location of the tap may have pulled apart. A less likely possibility is the ignition module is begining to fail.

SOURCE: Car died and wont start
The fuel injector motor or called the Idle Air control module is not the failure. The fuel pump is overheating and dies out. Thus when letting sit a while the engine is starting up again.
I woult take vehicle to local shop and have them replace the fuel pump , I suggest not getting taken for a complete tune up. Just the fuel pump is the most cost effective way .
