Nissan X-trail heater making vibrating noise

Have just had a service which included a new pollen filter - the heater is now really loud with a vibrating noise, this stops as soon as the heater is switched off - the garage say it is nothing to do with them as all they did is change the filter!!! Any ideas? Could it be the wrong filter for the make of car?

It sounds as if the blower motor is off ballance maby the blower cage cracked or the pollen filter is in wrong or wrong filter ,have it taken out and looked at and send the bill to who ever changed your pollen filter

Hi, what does the scheduled 60 000 miles service (or repairs) include for an Aston Martin DB7, 6L year 2000? I'm considering buying this model which has driven 65 000 miles and I'm not sure what...

Usually, a big service would include a cam-belt change and retiming, brake fluid top up, coolant level check, new oil filter, oil change, new pollen filter, new air filters and a general inspection. This should be no different for an Aston Martin :)

2005 Nissan Altima makes rattling/vibration noise

It is possible that you have some timing chain noise, especially if you have the 3.5L engine. The secondary timing chain tensioners on the 3.5 have a known problem, Nissan has issued a service bulletin regarding this and there is an updated part to replace them. It is not a cheap job, but your dealer may give you some "goodwill" depending on your mileage. If you have the 2.5L the problem may a couple of other things...even more serious! They had catalytic converters that came apart and got ingested into the engine, eventually destroying it. Try googling "Altima rattle" and include your engine size in the search. There is a ton of info on the net about noises in these cars.

I had the same problem, you can replace both the acc band and the band tensor, the vibration comes from a loose band.

Honda heater makes loud noise

ok well its possible there may be something stuck in the blower motor under the passenger side dash. ..or the blower motor itself could be on its way out, sometimes leaves or sticks from trees and even stove inside the glove box can find their way into the windshield cowling and into your blower motor..u can remove it to check by unplugging its white connector and remove the 8mm bolts that secure it into the heater core box..its very easy to remove..the 8mm bolts / screws should also have a phillips head on them...
