Never done it before- could use advice on how to do it, what to look for...
For starters make sure you relieve the fuel pressure. Also even though the vehicle is "higher" then a car, it is much easier to move around if you do raise the vehicle up in the air. Also the sheild shouldn't need to be removed. Look at the new filter to understand more how the quick disconnect clips work. Last and most important, even though the fuel pressure is out wear some sort of eye protection as there will still be some fuel that comes out. Below I gave you the procedure on how to relieve fuel pressure. Hope this helps and good luck....

Can't show you exactly, but is easy to take the grill out and change lamps while it is out! Grill has clips, you just have to un-clip it, pull two tabs on each side on the top and the whole thing comes out! (20 Minutes)

It looks to be attached to the side of the tank behind the sheild. It looks as though there is an access cover to get to it.There should be a skid plate, or sheild bolted to the tank brackets.
