Question about 2005 Mazda MX3
Replaced battery on my MX3 now It won't start and the alarm goes off, anyone know the reset sequence, it has a push button fob and one you have to position near the stearing column HELP

VSS or vehicle speed sensor aka cam sensor or crank position sensor. Test the battery and alternator. You should also check for blown fuses, bad wires and grounds on a car as old as yours. If you find it's getting spark and fuel after further testing, check the timing belt. It could have slipped or broke even if it was changed recently so either pull off the cover or at least do a compression test.

first remove the 3 screws linking the metal bracket to the headlight, the the 2 bolts on top, and the last bolt inside the bumper, you will need a flashlight to see, it's not easy to find
