It sounds like you have an Alternator that is overhanging (15.2V is way high) not a short circuit. Shorts don't fry batteries.

1999 Econoline van- I have a constant 12.6 drain on battery even when vehicle is not running. I have to disconnect battery so as not to kill it. Where do I look for this problem?

Get a multimeter disconnect you battery and hook the meter up so that one lead goes to the battery and the other goes to the battery cable. Now start pulling fuses one at a time and checking the meter each time. You can replace the fuses after each removal if the meter doesn't show a responce. Once you find the circuit that is the problem then you will have to start searching it out. That is where the fun begins. Good Luck

99 silhouette with a few issues

Well the dead battery could be something left on that should be off, or a short in the wiring. You would need to check battery voltage while pulling fuses to see if there is a power drain.
The other problem could be the key switch or a problem in the fuse box. And the second problem could affect the dead battery problem.
You would need to know if the fuses for whats not working has power from the key or not.

We currently own a 2007 E350 Ext. Length passenger van. Starting about 2 years ago, the battery would lose a charge if the van sat longer than a few days, not every time but enough to be annoying. About...

1st step is to disconnect the aftermarket unit. if the problem goes away then you have your culprit. nobody is going to tell you they installed something wrong, even if they did.

if that does not do it, then you know they are correct about their installation. there are two fuse panels, one with a few big fuses under the hood and one inside the vehicle with many small fuses. one by one you are going to remove overnite the big fuses until you figure out which one has the bad boy on it. when it is out the battery stays charged and when in, the battery drains. when you figure that one out then you can pull the smaller fuses which are downstream on the big fuse circuit, one by one, until you find the one which, when removed, does not cause the battery to drain out over 2 days. when you have that one out you know which few electrical doodads are on it and you replace or live without them. likely suspects are the alarm, power door locks, leveling if equipped.

Constant beeping when opening door to exit van

Good news. After letting the van sit for a few hours, when I went to get in it again, I opened the van with the key (ie. not the remote fob) and there was no beeping. I don't know if checking all the fuses (I fulled and checked each one), or disconnecting the battery, using the key, or just letting it sit did the trick, but it is now fixed.

My 1999 plymouth voyager van's radiator fan constantly on

There is a fan relay in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Usually that is the reason why it won't turn off. It fuses in the on position. If you have the manual it will say which one is the fan relay. just pull it out and get a new one. They are not expensive.

Hope this helps

Van will not start. Can hear fuel pump but nothing else.

First thing check the fuses! Turn the key to the on 'run' position and check both sides of every fuse with a test light, or pull them out one by one, but test light is easier! If all is fine check for power on the starter main terminal (power will be constant when in any key position), then check for power on other terminal when in start position! If both powers are present then you will need a new starter!
