Question about 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse
Try holding the hazard button slightly down a little at a time. this happend on my truck and my hazard switch was bad

try checking the fuse for the turn signal if not that try replacing bulb turn signal is differnt than hazzards or try replacing flasher its a big grey cylinder on fuse panel.

Check the indicator switch, that seems to be all that is left in the system, except the flasher relay, depending on whether the vehicle uses the same one for the hazards or not.
