Thanks Calvin, because the motor/fan was only $35 I went ahead and replaced it. It doesn't blow strong, but it does blow now, but still no heat. I have also replaced the relay? Square thing, fits in fuse container under hood.

Try the fan speed switch, on your dash where you turn it on, usually it's the connector for that switch has been my experience.

If the air is blowing, and isn't hot, you have one of 3 problems, listed easiest to hardest to fix. 1 Low coolant level, or air in the engine side of the cooling system, bad or no thermostat, and leaking or clogged heater core. One way to solve them all is buy a thermostat and a gallon of straight antifreeze, remove old thermostat and lower coolant hose, put a garden hose where the thermostat goes, turn it on as strong as you can get it and the hose stay in the engine and not spray everywhere, untill the water that comes out the bottom of the engine is clean and unrestricted, replace hoses and thermostat fill system, warm up the engine with radiator cap off, and check often. Two things to remember, look in the passenger floorboard of the car for water, this is a sign of a leaking heater core, you see water in the floor, gotta replace the heater core. And 2. be careful not to soak any major elecrical components in the process, Alternator and ECM mainly. The ECM is on the wheel well, cover it with a plastic bag if you want. Other than that, it should fix it. Enjoy the heat.

And if it's not blowing very well after replacing the blower motor, I still think you need to check the connection to the fan switch on the dash, these connectors burn up all the time in pontiac compacts, and GM Trucks. All it takes is a phillips screwdriver or a little ratchet 1\4 or so, and a bit of time.

No heat or blower on my van

First place to check is the heater fuse.this is usually found inside the blower unit in passenger footwell under glove box.the fuse is underneath and held in with a Philips screw.check the condition of the metal foils as they corrode due to condensation.they can sometimes be repaired by soldering wire across broken may source a second hand from breakers yard or EBay.if this is not the solution please look and check in the main fuse box.please comment if this helps you.thankyou.

Chev. blower motor blows, no heat and noisy

You may have a blower fan which has broken away from the fan motor. Remove and inspect, replace cage fan as needed.

My heat/AC blower makes noise, but no air comes out. I can adjust the fan speed, bu still no air. I replaced the blend doors and they work correctly... now I can feel heat, but it won't blow. I still...

Most probablh a broken recirculation door hinge. When broken, the door will be laying on top of the blower motor and shut the air exit. Remove the blower motor and look up. If you see the door and csn fteely move it by hand, then that is the problem. Some people just secure it in up position eith some wire. Ofcourse recirc will not work anymore.

No heat my heaterwant come on what do i do

Pull off the connector at the blower motor (far side passenger) and use a test light or voltmeter to check that power is present, with key on and blower motor switch on high. If power is there, you probably need a new blower motor (easily replaced-on most cars, anyway.).
If no power there, you may have a bad blower switch, bad heater motor relay, or a loose or broken wire somewhere close.

My heat will not blow out the vents in my 91 oldlsmobile royal 88 we have changed the switch, fan motor and relay under hood.

Have you check the blower motor resistor sit next to the blower motor, white ceramic looking with about 4" harness will have a spring on the ceramic part if spring is broken blower motor will not for six tenths of an hr. to replace.

Blower motor not working no air blowes but when i turn it on but you can hear noise when you change for air to heat setting

the noise is a blend air door motor moving the door if its poping the door maybe broken as far as the blower not working the blower motor maybe bad or the resistor could be bad check to make sure water is not getting in the motor you will se rust if thats the case
