Well if it is a 4 cylinder the timing marks would be small hole in camshaft lined up with little dot on head at 12 o'clock position and the crank with the pulley on should line up with 0 on the timing indicator. If it is a 6 cyl then the marks would be- camshafts both with dots up and lined up with indicaters on heads and crank timing mark on 0 with the harmonic balancer installed. Hope this helps.

The fuel pressure regulator is on the driver side fuel rail, close to the back of the engine. You need to pull the intake plenum off to access the pressure regulator.

The normal operating fuel pressure is 38 to 44 PSI

Multi point injection systems run at about 45-55 psi. When the key is turned on,engine off, fuel pump will run for a short time to prime the fuel rail. At this time the tester should read normal pressure or a little higher.

You need to use a pressure gauge and run it in-line with the fuel lines. Pop the hood and look to the left. Just above where the strut mounts you will see a round silver filter. You need to remove the fuel line there and place your pressure gauge in line of that.

1990 toyota corona 3sfe carburetor starts and runs fine for no longer than 1 minute then sounds as if its running out of fuel. starts fine after about 30 seconds of winding over then dies again

A few possibilities are: -

Blocked or restricted fuel tank breather.
Blocked or restricted fuel supply from the tank
Blocked fuel filter(s).
Failing fuel pump.

If you presented your car to me I would test the fuel pump pressure first as it is probably the easiest to do.

Toyota camry was running fine now it won't start when i jump it the car stalls and won't start

Could be either a fuel delivery problem or an ignition problem. Replace the fuel filter and check for correct fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Replace the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, and pickup strainer as necessary. If the fuel pressure is correct at the fuel rail, begin diagnosing for an ignition system issue.

Need to check out that no spark condition. spark at coils? crankshaft position sensor bad? Ignition control module bad? These can be checked at autozone once you pull them.

95' camry wagon, fuel pump only comes on when key is turned to start position. if car starts will not stay running. how do i check the fuel pressure regulator /

I don't think the EFI relay is at fault. Other things would be dead if it was, including the starter. See here p177 to test fuel pressure, which may be too low if the fuel pump itself or the pressure regulator is faulty.

How to replace voltage regulator on 1990 Toyota camry.

Assuming the regulator is inside the alternator, as most are,
you have to remove the alternator from the car,remove the
4 long bolts that hold the 2 halves together,then remove the
screws or bolts holding the regulator

I suggest you see if the regulator is avail
You may be better to go to an auto electric shop
that does just that, & you may be able to buy the
regulator there ,or wait while they install it & test
to see if it needs replacing.

is too rare , the fuel pressure damper is very hard to damage, check for other problem

How do you replace a water pump on Toyota Camry

the pump is connected to the cam belt and is very tricky you could do a lot of damage if you set the timing wrong. when is the timing belt due for changing it would be done then or get it done now and save money incase you run out of water and blow your head gasket
