No dim headlights

Check low beam bulbs for being burned out. Maybe one burned out and was not noticed until the second was burned out.

Pull the dip stick out of the transmission and look at the fluid. If it looks burned and smells burned, Your transmission is burned up. You can have it rebuilt or purchase a new one.

What does "burned up " mean? did you drive in 4wd on hard pavement? was the oil level full? are the tires all the same size? brand? model?

Headlights wont turn on?

One: replace the fuse box. Never tape a burned wire. It will eventually catch fire and then... You cannot fix a fuse box that has been burned. Also, there are surely burned wires elsewhere that you have not discovered yet. I recommend that you REPLACE the front harness, or at least the wires that were burned.

What the E-20 showing on my cd player

Hello! The "E20" error code loosely means that the CD player cannot focus, or read the disc properly. This could be from a number of reasons, dirty pickup lens, dirty/scratched disc, excessive humidity, or using a burned/copied CD that was burned at a speed that was too fast to provide a "deep" enough burn to the disc. And lastly, I know GM's Delco radios in the late 90's had issues reading CD-RW's; but read CD-R's fine (if burned slow enough)

My first suggestion would be to see if this happens on all CD's - originals and/or burned ones. If it only happens on burned/copied discs - I'd recommend slowing down the burn speed to no faster than 16x and retrying. If it does happen with both types of discs, then I'd purchase a CD lense cleaner and run that through a couple of cycles.

Hope this helps and good luck! Thanks for using FixYa!

Replace the starter relay, between battery and starter, possible burned contacts. Also check all connections for burned wire connectors or partial burned wire.
