Question about 1992 Toyota 4Runner
I have a 92 toyota 4runner v6 with 4 wheel drive. My 10 amp A/C fuse keeps blowing out. What would cause this fuse to blow out? I never had a problem until i went to trun the a/c on and the fuse blew. i changed it out and it blew again a short while after turning my a/c on. Please help.
What is the black lose wire hanging lose in back i think the drivers side in the back compartments

Next time you change the fuse,open the hood,make sure vehicle is in PARK if an automatic or in Neutral with the parking brake on,also keep your hands away from the moving belts & radiator as it's hot. Look for a large aluminum A/C compressor,have an assistant turn on & off the A/C and look & listen at the front of the compressor to see if the electric clutch is engaging & dis-engaging. If not, turn off engine and see if electrical lead to it is connected/intact, if it is the clutch could be bad or the compressor locked up. You can check to see if it's working by touching the bare aluminum pipes or lines,if they're cold the unit is working. Check for a little glass window in the black hoses if you see a lot of tiny bubbles or oil streaks there are mechanical issues.
