Problems i have a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee where is the thermastat located? It is a 6 cylinder 4.0L

6 or 8 cylinder? Either way the computer (ECM) controls the coils. 6 cyl has a 'coil rail' and 8 cyl had individual coils on each cylinder. There are crankshaft and camshaft sensors that tell the ecm when to fire each cylinder

Plenty of causes. Plugs, valves. rings, numerous electronic/electrical faults. Diagnose vehicle and eliminate problems one by one.

It should be mounted in the transmission bellhousing. Drivers side on the 6 cylinder and passenger side on the 8 cylinder.

try to find someone with a car like yours take pictures offer them cash to help you

What engine 6 cylinder? If yes you have to remove the coil rail on the passenger side of the cylinder head.

1994 is the same as 1997. parts are interchangeable
