You should be able to locate it by following the upper radiator hose to the engine, where the hose is clamped to a housing. Remove the clamp, remove the hose, remove 2 bolts attaching the housing to engine, inside is the thermostat. Clean off gasket from surfaces, replace- make sure the thermostat is facing the correct direction, or car will overheat. If u can't locate it w/ these directions, let me know. Good Luck!

6 or 8 cylinder? Either way the computer (ECM) controls the coils. 6 cyl has a 'coil rail' and 8 cyl had individual coils on each cylinder. There are crankshaft and camshaft sensors that tell the ecm when to fire each cylinder

It should be mounted in the transmission bellhousing. Drivers side on the 6 cylinder and passenger side on the 8 cylinder.
