Heater fan stopped working on my c4 picasso how do I change it?

The heater blower started to work intermitently, has now stopped working all together. All the function and control lights still work. How do you get the heater blower out?

SOURCE: 98 mercedes e 320 heater blower does not work

Check Fuse and the Wire connector at the Blower, off hand you should be getting 12+ at the blower motor, If so you need a new Blower..

SOURCE: heater/blower fan not working at all after intermittently working

Heater motor is prone to water damage when the small drain scuttle drain gets blocked (usually by leaves).
If the passenger footwell carpet is damp, that's probably the problem.
Worth checking regularly anyway, and/or remove the small cover over the drain which is part of the problem.
Remove the heater assembly (located over passenger footwell) and replace is the easy answer.
It is possible, depending on ability, to strip and repair.
New from Europarts around £130, used around £60.
Have fun!

Picasso heater blower not working

Hi all. Yes this is a very common issue. 2 distinct issues in fact are common with the aircon.
1 you get fan on certain settings only. This is the resistor gone and johnjohn2 has identified the fix for this above. This is usually (although not always not intermittent and so you will usually lose all other settings over night and they don't come back
2 you get no fan activity at all. This starts to happen intermittently and then gets more frequent until the fans won't work at all. The fix for this is expensive through Citroen but cheap if you get the part off ebay. It is the ignition switch cable which has a fault. A very common issue. You need to remove the ignition switch and replace the cable from it. Work is not long but plugs can be tight and fiddly.
here is the link for the part

good luck
