Question about 2006 Chevrolet Colorado
Truck idols smooth in park or drive at a stand still...this is a mystery When coming to a sudden stop , while applying brakes quickly...it feels like the throttle is choked out. any idea what could be causing this...I do realize it may be an easy fix. but..not sure if it is spark timing related or shift solenoid in transmission
I had the same problem. Shops told me that it was a sensor. I changed some sensors and it still did it. I talked to a buddy that told me to look on the intake to the motor where the butterfly flap is and see if it has carbon build on it. The carbon keeps the flap from closing all the way. I took it apart and clean all the carbon build up off and now she runs like a champ

I suspect that the power brake servo is faulty ,in the line to the servo unit is a non return valve so check this out first that its working ,then apply brakes stationary and see if their is a big hiss from the servo as this will allow air in the manifold causing it stall
