Question about 1989 Dodge Aries
WHEN THE AC STOPPED WORKING SEVERAL YEARS AGO I WAS TOLD BY A MECHANIC IT WAS THE EVAPORATOR. I WOULD LIKE TO FIX IT NOW. HOW DO I DO IT? IS IT AN EASY DO IT YOURSELF JOB OR SHOULD IT BE DIRECTED TO A PROFESSIONAL? THANK YOU, GARY
To replace the AC Evaporator core you must remove the dash from the car, a very complicated job, a factory manual is not an option here. You can access the factory manuals for a fee at this site www.alldatadiy.com, it is what shops use. The job takes about 12 hours at home.
