About 2005 Caravan 3.3L engine, it's located just below and to the rear of the ignition coil pack, mikey. It's the only sensor in the area, but it's a bit obscured by the coil pack and not easy to spot.

This view is basically from the driver's seat if you imagined the dash to be invisible. There is only one trick to removing the sensor connector... a red slide-lock needs to be clicked to its opposite position, which will mean pushing it toward the wire end of the connector.

Where is the coolant censor 2008 Chevrolet HHR

It appears to be on backside of engine block. Two wire connector, wire colors, tan and yellow.
No 1 is electrical for that sensor. I realize the picture isn't the best.

My 94 chevy pick up starts and files good but cuts out bad when put in gear and give gas

could be clogged fuel injectors or fuel filter could be plugged or your fuel pump is weak and needing replaced, what makes fuel pumps go bad in most vehichles is driving with less than a 1/4 tank of gas,it gets the fuel pump hot and works it too hard

When u get to 35 or 40 MPH the car starts chugging. We replaced wires- throttle censor.temperature heat censor.map censor. What else could be the problem?

I see you like replacing computer sensors. Did anybody try something really high-tech like performing NORMAL MAINTENANCE? You know, high-tech stuff like replacing a fuel filter?

My cars heat gauge keeps going up to the hot section, but I don't think the car is actually overheating, I can't smell anything or hear the radiator boiling.

check the real value of the temperature sensor with a scan tool. Compare it withe the value in the gauge. It can be a defective temperature sensor or a damaged gauge...or else the car is really overheating

What tells the fan to come on

One or more temprature sensors sends a signal to the cars computer. When a certain temperature is reached the computer sends power to a relay that sends power to the fan. The fan will also come on when you turn on your air conditioning.

NON-FUNCTIONING COOLING FANS BUT ALL FUSES INTACT; SUGGESTIONS? FLUID IS FULL, NO STEAM OR SHUDDER BUT TEMP GAUGE OVER RED

get your temperature censor(s) replaced. this will cause the fan to not come on if it is not functioning properly. usually the temp censor is somewhere that it can have coolant running on it so it can read the temperature on your car. your car will have one for the gauge and another one to turn the fan on and send signals to your ECM i suggest you replace both.

My chevy lumina starts but once it warms up it dies and wont start changed coils and module what else could it be?

you probably have a faulty temperature censor. if the car stalls when its hot and acts like its running out of gas than its the temp censor. what this censor does is it will tell the main computer what to make the air fuel mixture and if its telling the computer (ECM) that the car is too rich than it will lean the air fuel mixture so far that it will cause the car to stall.

Don't know what the coolant censor is it's flashing on my car screen

Coolant temperature sensor is located (or should be) near front of the engine, below valve cover, mounted in water/coolant outlet.
