Year, make, model, engine size?

Typically on a dodge they are located near the thermostat housing. A 19mm deep socket will work to remove and install the temp sensor.

leave some specifics on your vehicle and I will do my best to get you more specific info.

Where is the coolant censor 2008 Chevrolet HHR

It appears to be on backside of engine block. Two wire connector, wire colors, tan and yellow.
No 1 is electrical for that sensor. I realize the picture isn't the best.

Check engine light came on vehicle shut down,Nissan Wingroad Y11,on checking with tech it showed Air flow censer, changed it drove about 50metres light came back on car stutter shut down. help

First inspect the boot from sensor to the intake manifold for cracks, inspect all the vacuum hoses to the intake.
second unplug the connector and inspect the terminal.Sometimes the plastic is burn and the wire pusht out of terminal. insert the wire all the way in or replace the pigtail.
plug scanner and monitor the air flow and air temperature on live data.
inspect the wire harness for damage to engine ground.
good luck

NON-FUNCTIONING COOLING FANS BUT ALL FUSES INTACT; SUGGESTIONS? FLUID IS FULL, NO STEAM OR SHUDDER BUT TEMP GAUGE OVER RED

get your temperature censor(s) replaced. this will cause the fan to not come on if it is not functioning properly. usually the temp censor is somewhere that it can have coolant running on it so it can read the temperature on your car. your car will have one for the gauge and another one to turn the fan on and send signals to your ECM i suggest you replace both.

My chevy lumina starts but once it warms up it dies and wont start changed coils and module what else could it be?

you probably have a faulty temperature censor. if the car stalls when its hot and acts like its running out of gas than its the temp censor. what this censor does is it will tell the main computer what to make the air fuel mixture and if its telling the computer (ECM) that the car is too rich than it will lean the air fuel mixture so far that it will cause the car to stall.

Don't know what the coolant censor is it's flashing on my car screen

Coolant temperature sensor is located (or should be) near front of the engine, below valve cover, mounted in water/coolant outlet.
