There is three fuel lines on a 88 s10 blazer,which line is which?

Need to know which fuel line is feed,return and vapor?

SOURCE: My fuel system is vapor locking.

I suspect this is what is wrong.... (see picture) the sock has caught onto the bafflle inside the tank....

SOURCE: 89 chevy s10 blazer puff smoke out tailpipe when 1st started

A puff of smoke when you start up indicates worn valve seals.That's why all your work didn't fix the problem and it doesn't show a code. It's a pain in the --- job that requires some specialized tools so I guess it depends on how bad it bugs you,if oyu want to fix it.

The 452 is low input and the 453 is high input.The EVAP system is completely separate from the fuel system, so it has nothing to do with the regulator.
If you follow your fuel lines, you will find three lines off of the tank: 1 is the fuel supply line (from the pump to the engine), 2 is the fuel return line (from the regulator to the tank), and 3 is an EVAP line. As the tank breathes (so you don't a vacuum or pressure built up in the tank), the EVAP systems job is to make sure the gasoline vapors from the tank end up going to the intake so they can be burned. The pressure sensors are there so the computer knows if the EVAP system is doing its job correctly.
Short Answer: The sensor measures pressure inside the tank. It tells the PCM there is a leak if it sees one.

Not really possible.
Vapor lock was when liquid fuel would vaporize in the steel line or carburetor from excessive heat.
Since your Blazer is fuel injected, the fuel can not vaporize in the line.

95 metro....2 lines run from the fuel tank to the drivers side of the car....what do they connect to


you should have a feed line to the fuel injector rail and a return line back to the tank,you should also have 2 evap lines that look similar to the fuel lines these vent off fuel vapor fumes from the tank to the purge valve and into the engine to burn of the vapor fumes instead of venting the fumes into the atmosphere as days long gone by on older vehicles,make sure of what you are looking at,and yes fuel lines will leak if old and dry rotted or damaged from movement due to broken motor mounts

My gas tank leaks. How do I go about replacing it? It seems to have three fuel lines to the tank. One is a small diameter line and the other two are larger, I am assuming one of these might be a return...


if you take and clamp off the hoses and remove them from the tank,then support the fuel tank,remove the fuel tank holding straps then lower the tank,disconnect the wiring and make sure there is nothing else connected to the fuel tank,remove fuel tank transfer any components to the new tank and re-install.

Fuel pump replacement..need to know where each hose hooks onto pump....i.e return fuel line vs vapor line to charcoal filter....picture would be nice


the center fitting on the pump is for the vapor line. The large diameter fitting is the pressure line. The smaller diameter fitting is the low pressure line.

it sounds like you have a line hooked up to the wrong spot, and that little black box sounds like the charcoal canister, which is used to filter out fuel vapors. it sounds like either the supply or return line has been hooked into the vapor line. retrace your steps, largest diameter line is supply, medium is return, smallest line is vapor line. good luck!

How do you change a fuel line on a 2002 S10 blazer


First you need to unsrew the gas cap to relieve the pressure in the fuel system and than remove and replace the fuel line.

The three lines that go into the fuel pump. this is a plastic tanl


You have the 1. hi pressure line to the fuel filter and then to the injectors, 2. the return line from the fuel injector system to the gas tank. 3. you have the return line from the EVAP canister at the left rear of the blazer. Note it's common for the fuel line to leak along the frame rail where the lines are clipped on to the nylon brace. Hope this the answer your looking for, the only two lines that is going to have fuel is the hi pressure and return, the EVAP line is vapors from the canister.
