First I suggest to check trans fluid level, if the quality and level is right, try a maintennace job before... could be a problem with the torque converter or valve body solenoids.

Try to remove interior trim (plastic) on rear door panel from inside the vehicle to access metal access panel and get to door actuator rods to get door open for further repair.

FIRST YOU HAVE TO UNBOLT THE TRANSMISSION PAN ON THE BOTTOM OF THE TRANSMISSION. THERE WILL BE FLUID IN IT SO BE CAREFUL NO TO SPILL IT. AFTER THE PAN IS OFF YOU WILL SEE THE FILTER ON THE BOTTOM OF THE VALVE BODY. IT MAY BE BOLTED ON AS WELL. HOPE THIS HELPS. LET ME KNOW. GOOD LUCK
