Mine did this....likely needs a new fuel filter...it is under the car above the rear axle....requires a special tool that you can buy at parts store ...ask the counter guy. Also will likely need to clean the throttle body intake. Take the hose off where the air intake goes into the engine. If is is black and has carbon deposits, spray with carb cleaner (with engine off) and carefully clean the body and the butterfly with a small brush or a toothbrush. Let it air dry out a few minutes and put back together. Engine should start and will smoke for a second or two, but will quickly clear up. That fixed mine.
