check for fuel pump operation.have someone turn ignition on while you go to rear of car where fuel tank is to listen for fuel pump operation.if not.check fuse and relay.if you hear fuel pump .check ignition system to make sure engine is getting spark.

Their are different kind of services, the more you drive, the more and deeper service is required ! get your self a owners manual, all required service intervals should be listed. If this is your question ?

Connect 2 wires to fan plug, w/ other end of wires touch to battery terminals (disconnect battery to make sure you don't accidentally touch the wires together while doing this, as you can damage the electrical system). When you touch to the batt. terminals, the fan should kick on. If it doesn't, the fan motor is shot, if it does turn on, it is a relay that is bad, not signaling the fan to turn on when it should (as engine temp goes up).
